Engineered Green Infrastructure/LID Training

Individual Courses

Over the past few years, we've heard from individuals who were interested in either completing additional LID electives or upgrading their knowledge in a specific LID topic. In partnership with STEP - we have developed the opportunity for participants to do that.

Learners can now complete individual courses from the Low-Impact Development for Climate Action
 program.

Overview

Online Live

Fall 2026

As climate change intensifies, the need for resilient, engineered green infrastructure has never been greater. Managing stormwater from both a quantitative and qualitative perspective is becoming increasingly important for planners, designers, engineers, landscape architects, and construction professionals to ensure the infrastructure being built today can adapt to future climate conditions.

This immersive, conference-style Low-Impact Development for Climate Action program explores emerging approaches to the design, construction, operation, maintenance, and long-term performance of engineered green infrastructure. Participants learn from experts in the field with practical experience in developing climate-resilient
infrastructure.
