About the event
Take your learning beyond the screen and into the field. This in-person course is designed for professionals and community leaders who want to apply the science of carbon cycles, nature-based solutions, and the Miyawaki method to real sites. Building on the foundations from the Getting Started with Pocket Forests online course, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to plan, establish, and monitor pocket forests as part of your personal or organizational carbon portfolio.
What You’ll Do
Explore different forest types and site conditions directly in the field.
Practice species selection and layered planting design.
Apply carbon estimation methods using the Pocket Forest Hub.
Learn monitoring techniques for long-term ecological and carbon benefits.
